Gravity — Signet Solis Engineering Platform

What It Is

Gravity is Signet Solis’s model-based systems engineering (MBSE) and governance platform. It is the operational layer built on the Legacy Minerals Initiative architecture — turning a 150-node technology blueprint into a working engineering management system.

The Problem It Solves

Engineering organizations in mining, defense, and space manage their programs across four disconnected tools: a requirements manager, a CAD/model suite, a compliance tracker, and a proposal system. None of them share data. Trade decisions made in one system never propagate to the others. And when a new project starts, AI tools have no context about what the project actually is — they produce generic output that engineers have to rewrite.

Gravity replaces that reconciliation burden with a graph-native technical evidence workbench where architecture, requirements, compliance, and supplier evidence coexist and cross-reference — and where AI agents are grounded in the specific project they’re working on.

The Platform

Graph-native. Built on Life Cycle Modeling Language (LML 2.0), the same standard that underpins aerospace and defense MBSE programs. Architecture decisions are nodes and edges, not documents.

Project Foundation. Every project in Gravity is guided by a seven-phase readiness model: Concept of Operations → Requirements Baseline → Architecture & Decomposition → Risk & Hazard Baseline → Trade Studies → Verification & Validation → Milestones & Gate Plan. The Foundation engine tracks phase completion, scores maturity, surfaces the single next step, and routes it to the right AI agent. A new project knows exactly where it is and what to do next.

Per-project AI. The AI agent layer is grounded in each project’s specific context — domain, sector, applicable standards, current maturity, authored CONOPS, and discipline emphasis. The SE Orchestrator on a copper flotation project reasons about mineral processing; on a lunar MULE, it reasons about space systems. Agents are bounded by the architecture and by what the project has actually authored — they extend real engineering work rather than generating generic content.

AI-augmented authoring loop. The platform closes the loop between the Foundation phase model and the agent layer: each phase card surfaces the relevant agent and a pre-seeded prompt matched to that phase’s authoring task. Projects advance from skeleton to high-maturity through agent-assisted authoring that the engineer accepts and edits, not autonomous generation.

Compliance-integrated. 79 of 79 GAAP standards covered. DCAA-ready cost management. Regulatory requirements embedded at the architecture level, not bolted on after the fact.

Three operating sectors. Mining compliance (MSHA, NIOSH, SME), defense compliance (MIL-STD, ITAR, CMMC), and space compliance (NASA, ECSS, FAA/AST) share a common evidence framework because the underlying engineering constraints overlap.

Status

v0.8 Beta — Core workbench operational. Durable project registry, multi-turn AI chat memory, and document ingestion shipping now. Project Foundation and per-project AI scaffolding in design review; implementation planned for the current engineering cycle. Commercial alpha follows current engineering validation.
